I registered the domain ConfessToJesus.com many years ago and never really did much with it other than a half-hearted attempt at some content and functionality this current site has. After some personal introspection, I realized I wanted to put more positive vibes out into the world and decided to rework this site into one of those positive things.

Catharsis from Writing

I think there’s something special when personal writing, for the sake of just dumping out emotion onto the page, is used as a form of therapy. Maybe it’s like artistic expression when one pours their soul into their work, except the intent, in this case, is to use writing as a release with nothing to show for it.

Ever write something on a piece of paper, something that you can’t stop thinking about and it’s constantly blurring your mental clarity, and then burn that scrap of paper? If not, try it. There could be a bit of release as the flame consumes the paper. This online confessional is kind of like that – a frictionless way to get out thoughts and feelings without any judgement.
