Happy Soul
Happiness resides not in possessions, and not in gold, happiness dwells in the soul.
Democritus
“Antimatter is so rare it costs trillions per gram” - that’s the first item on Interesting Engineering’s article “The 10 of the most eye-wateringly most expensive materials on Earth .” At time of writing, gold is about $65 per gram and doesn’t make that top-ten list. Other items on that list are a couple of gemstones - emeralds ($20,000 / g), taaffeite ($20,000 / g), grandidierite ($26,000 / g) - as well as material used in nuclear research like plutonium which is a measly $4,000 / g compared to Californium at $10 - $27 Million per gram.
