Faith Mastery
If fear is cultivated it will become stronger, if faith is cultivated it will achieve mastery.

If you want to get better at something, make sure to get a good night’s sleep. An article from Harvard titled “Sleep, Learning, and Memory ” discusses, from a high level, the benefits sleep provides with memory and learning and ends in a nice summary. Here’s a too long; didn’t read quote (tl;dr): “In the view of many researchers, evidence suggests that various sleep stages are involved in the consolidation of different types of memories and that being sleep deprived reduces one’s ability to learn.” If you play an instrument or want to get better at fine motor skills, an article titled “Experience Playing a Musical Instrument and Overnight Sleep Enhance Performance on a Sequential Typing Task ” from the National Institute of Medicine might be of interest. This article, unlike the previous one, is very research focused and has a nice intro summary that introduces memory consolidation.
About the author
John Paul Jones (born John Paul; July 6, 1747 – July 18, 1792) was a Scottish-American naval captain who was the United States’ first well-known naval commander in the American Revolutionary War. He made many friends among U.S political elites (including John Hancock and Benjamin Franklin) as well as enemies (who accused him of piracy), and his actions in British waters during the Revolution earned him an international reputation which persists to this day. As such, he is sometimes referred to as the “Father of the American Navy” (a sobriquet he shares with John Barry and John Adams).
