The American Lung Association has an explain-like-I’m-five article about “How Lungs Work .” Did you know your right and left lungs are not symmetrical copies of each other? “Your right lung is divided into three LOBES, or sections. Each lobe is like a balloon filled with sponge-like tissue. Air moves in and out through one opening—a branch of the bronchial tube. Your left lung is divided into two LOBES.” Today I learned. And since the lungs support our sense of smell, guess what the world’s favorite smell is: vanilla .

He was a member of the Nerva–Antonine dynasty, the last of the rulers later known as the Five Good Emperors and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace, calm, and stability for the Roman Empire lasting from 27 BC to 180 AD. He served as Roman consul in 140, 145, and 161.
