Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle.

From the Britannica article “Miracles in the religions of the world ,” how miracles are perceived by the religious can be grouped by religions of the East and of the West. Eastern religions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, connect miracles to actions and practices of the individual. Western religions, such as Islam, Judaism and Christianity, tend to attribute miracles to a God that performs miracles for people.

Marianne Williamson (born July 8, 1952) is an American author, speaker, and politician. She began her professional career as spiritual leader of the Church of Today, a Unity Church in Warren, Michigan. Williamson has written several self-help books, including A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles in 1992, which became a New York Times Best Seller. She was launched into prominence by Oprah Winfrey, being a frequent guest on her daytime talk show and becoming known as her “spiritual advisor”.
