Humpty Dance
Look, I don’t want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you’re alive you’ve got to flap your arms and legs, you’ve got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you’re not alive.
Mel Brooks
According to Wikipedia’s article about the song “The Humpty Dance ,” the song was nominated for Best Rap Video at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards and lost to “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer. And, according to Events History timeline of 1990 , 34 years ago at time of this tidbit, Liechtenstein become a member of the United Nations on September 18th, 1990. I’m pretty sure the word Liechtenstein isn’t in the song “The Humpty Dance”, though it sounds like it could be.
