Would you like to spend a little time learning about tropisms ? LibreTexts , an online textbook resource, has you covered: “A tropism is directional growth in response to a stimulus. A positive tropism occurs when a plant (or a part of the plant) grows towards the stimulus, and a negative tropism is growth away from the stimulus.” For instance, two of the five or so tropisms are gravitropism which is directional growth in response to gravity, and phototropism which is directional growth in response to light.

Morihei Ueshiba (Ueshiba Morihei, December 14, 1883 – April 26, 1969) was a Japanese martial artist and founder of the martial art of aikido. He is often referred to as “the founder” Kaiso (開祖) or Ōsensei (大先生/翁先生), “Great Teacher/Old Teacher (old as opposed to waka (young) sensei)”.
