Saadi
In the Psycom article, “How to be Happy ”, the author suggests we should focus on fulfillment over happiness. With quotes from human behavior experts and psychologists, the idea is that happiness is fleeting and never really attainable because we keep pursuing it after the last bit of feeling happy has passed. Fulfillment, on the other hand, is more sustainable and durable, though it requires effort. “This means working towards embracing a range of emotions from joy and excitement, to boredom, disappointment, sadness, fear, anxiety and even embarrassment or shame.”
