Unwrap That Gratitude
Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
William Arthur Ward
Ever wonder where gift wrapping came from? Well, you’re in luck. NPR’s “The History of Gift Wrap ” article explains just that. The story starts with two brothers in 1917 who sold tissue paper during the holiday season for gift wrap. When they ran out one year, they turned to decorative envelope liners which they sold out. Soon, they were printing their own gift wrap. Those two brothers, Rollie and Joyce Hall, eventually started Hallmark.
